Bartosz MulawaDr Bartosz Mulawa is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Dentistry, the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Participant of numerous courses in Poland and abroad in the field of implantology, bone regeneration, soft tissue management and prosthetics.

Since 2016 he runs his own clinic in Warsaw: "Stomatologia Bartosz Mulawa Create Your Smile" where he deals with treatment planning, implantology, surgery and prosthetics.
He emphasizes minimally invasive dentistry. In treatment planning he uses, among others, DSD (Digital Smile Design), surgical templates and CGF (Concentrated Growth Factors.

Privately, he actively spends his free time running and traveling. Dr Bartosz Mulawa is a member of the Polish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry PASE.

Dr. Devorah Schwartz-Arad received her DMD and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Medicine Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel. She is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was the senior lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine, Tel Aviv University until 2008.

Since 2016 Dr. Schwartz-Arad is a Research Professor of the "Pharmacological Research in Dentistry Group" at the Faculty of Dentistry, State University of Granada (Spain) and Visiting Professor, UCAM, Universidad Catolica De Murcia, Murcia, Spain.          

Dr. Schwartz-Arad’s research focuses on immediate dental implantation, bone augmentation procedures for dental implants, the influence of smoking on the success of dental implants, and the impact of anxiety on the recovery process of patients.

Dr. Schwartz-Arad is a member of the Specialty Examination Board for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, nominated by the Israel Dental Association Scientific Council, Israel. She is also an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

She is the author & the co-author of invited reviews, published numerous scientific articles and abstracts and has presented more than 100 papers at scientific meetings and international academic conferences in Israel, Europe and the United-States.

Dr. Schwartz-Arad has been awarded several academic and professional awards, including by the Israeli Academy of Sciences and the Israel Cancer Association.

Dr. Schwartz-Arad is the author and editor of the book "Ridge preservation & immediate implantation" published by Quintessence in 2012. Her newest book "Esthetics in Dentistry" was published in mid-2016 by Quintessence.

Dr. Schwartz-Arad is the owner and senior surgeon of Schwartz-Arad Day-Care Surgical Center, Maxillofacial Surgery, Advanced Implantology, Periodontology & Endodontology in Ramat-Hasharon, Israel. Prof. dr hab. Tomasz KonopkaTomasz Konopka - born in Ostrów Wielkopolski in 1964. 1988 - he graduated summa cum laude from Wrocław Academy of Medicine, Medical Department, Stomatology Faculty, and joined the Non-Invasive Stomatology Section and Unit of Wrocław Academy of Medicine. 1993 - he became a consultant in periodontology and graduated from the PhD programme in medicine (doctoral thesis: Impact of surgical and pharmacological treatment on the activity of neutrophils in progressive periodontitis). Since 1995 - the Periodontics Unit of Wrocław Academy of Medicine. 1999 - he graduated from the postdoctoral programme at Szczecin Academy of Medicine (postdoctoral thesis: Role of cytokines, adhesive particles, heat shock proteins and immune response in periodontitis). Since 2014 - also at Medical University of Łódź. Since 2009 - professor titular and since 2012 full professor.

Since 2001 - editor of the Dental and Medical Problems quarterly. Member of scientific boards: Journal of Stomatology, Dental Forum, eDentico, Stomatologia estetyczna and Implantologia, Paradontologia, Osteologia (Ukraine). Former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Wrocław Academy of Medicine (2005-2008) and Chairman of the Periodontology Section of the Polish Dentistry Association (PTS) (2000-2004). Since 2013 - member of the Medical Section of the Central Academic and Scientific Degrees and Titles Commission. He published 305 scientific papers and congressional reports. The publications’ focus: pathogenesis of periodontitis, connections between periodontitis and systemic diseases (periodontal medicine), diagnostics and epidemiology of periodontal diseases, periodontal treatment with a focus on mucous membrane and gums surgery, oral mucous membrane diseases - epidemiology, aetiology, clinical imaging and treatment. Thesis supervisor in doctoral degree procedures: 9 complete and 1 in progress, and supervisor of 14 periodontics specialists.

Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski, MD, PhDGraduate of the Medical University of Lublin. Specialist in otolaryngology and maxillofacial surgery. Since 1995, Head of the Department and Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery, Medical University of Lublin. Reviewer of numerous doctoral and post-doctoral dissertations. Author of numerous reviews for conferring the professorship title. Author and co-author of numerous scientific papers and convention announcements presented at national and international conferences, especially in the field of traumatology, maxillofacial surgery, surgical treatment of gnathic defects using piezoelectric surgery, distraction and modification of facial skeleton bone growth in children. In the years 2003-2005 Vice-President and Chairman of the Polish Association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2005, the organizer of the 5th Congress of this  Association. Currently member of the Polish Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology and European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Sugery.

Rafał Zagalak, MD PhDIn 1996 he obtained a degree in medicine and in 1999 in dentistry at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. Actively working with the Department of Prosthodontics, he conducted research in the field of implant biomechanics, which culminated in a doctoral dissertation. In 2004 he was awarded the Rector of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences prize for scientific activity. He is the author of about 50 scientific publications in the field of implant dentistry and a member of scientific societies: OSIS, EDA and PSI. During the 15 years of cooperation with the Foundation of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences he held the medical director position responsible for research and development. Co-author of four Polish and European patents concerning implant applications. Owner of a private dental clinic Zagalak in Bydgoszcz.

Professor Izabela Maciejewska has been employed in the Dept. of Prosthodontics of Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland right after graduation. In the next four years, after passing appropriate exams Professor Maciejewska became a specialist in the both general dentistry and dental prosthodontics.

From the very beginning of her professional life Professor. Maciejewska was involved in research that focused on a tooth development. Firstly, she investigated an impact of fluoride on a tooth bud development during the very early stages of odontogenesis. Professor Maciejewska specifically investigated the function of the noncollagenous proteins from the SIBLING family, which are the key regulators of the apatite crystal nucleation and dentin mineralization. For the appreciation of her interests she was the only Polish invited by Authorities of the American Association for Dental Research to participate in the First Sibling Research Gordon Conference which was held in Big Sky, MN, USA. Thereafter, Professor Maciejewska was invited to her sabbatical to Baylor College of Dentistry, Baylor Health Centrum, Dallas, TX, USA and Institute of Bioscience and Technology, Houston, TX, USA.

Since her come back to Poland Professor Maciejewska works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dental Prosthodontics and Implantology, Medical University of Gdansk. In 2013 she was offered the additional position of the Medical Director in the Oral Health Center of Medical University of Gdańsk.

After winning the competition for two MNiSW grants Professor Maciejewska was profoundly involved in research on human dental pulp stem cells (DPSC) and stem cells from an apical papilla (SCAP), which potentially could be used for tissue regeneration and engineering. In collaboration with the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of PAN, Prof. Maciejewska was willing to implement a “DPSC-biomaterial”, which could replace the traditional dental fillings.

For her outstanding contribution to dental research Professor Maciejewska was frequently awarded by the Provost of the Medical University of Gdansk. She also received multiple awards and prices from the International Association for Dental Research. She published over 80 manuscripts in the most prestigious dental journals i.e. Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Dentistry, Archives of Oral Biology, European Journal of Oral Sciences, Stem Cells Research Reports & Review. Professor Maciejewska is also either a member of the Editorial Board or a reviewer of these journals.

Andrzej Szwarczyński, MSc, MD, PhD Specialises in maxillofacial surgery, co-owner and head of the  implantology practice ASKODENT in Poznań. Author and co-author of several dozens of academic publications on maxillar surgery and implantology in Polish and foreign journals. Graduated from Implantology Curriculum and Master of Science in Oral Implantology at Goethe University in Frankfurt a. Main. Participated in numerous congresses and trainings. Within the Polish Society of Implantology (PSI), he is responsible for co-running the theoretical and practical part of Implantology Curriculum and assessing practical exams. Agnieszka Laskus, MSc, MD, PhD A dentist with 20 years of experience who specialises in periodontology and dental implantology.

Graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw and in 2001 defended her PhD thesis with distinction. She was one of the first persons in Poland to be awarded the prestigious title of Master of Oral Implantology in May, 2012, upon graduating postgraduate studies in Implantology at the Department of Medicine, Goethe University Frankfurt. Her further training featured numerous workshops and internships, including the University of California, Los Angeles, in Gothenburg and Bern.

She authored more than 100 publications and scientific presentations, including several foreign ones. For five years, she has been the head of the academic club for dentistry students at the Medical University of Warsaw and has received the Scientific Rector’s Award for her activity. Currently, she is actively engaged in training dentists in implantology and mucogingival surgery.

Dr Laskus is willing to share her experience with the medical community. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, European Association of Osseointegration, Polish Association of Dental Implantology, Polish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and International Team of Implantology.

Dr Agnieszka Laskus is the co-founder and co-creator of Trio-Dent Clinic, a private dental clinic where she has worked for 18 years. Within the business, dr Laskus initiated free of charge dental assistance to single mothers houses in Warsaw in 2005 by engaging into the programme “Uśmiechnij się mamo!” (“Smile, Mom!”) of Fundacja Świętego Mikołaja (Santa Claus Foundation).

In 2012, she was one of the founders and sponsors of Dr Laskus Foundation, the heart of which is education and oral cavity protection. Dr Laskus enjoys contemporary literature, in particular English and Polish poetry. She likes classical music and the works of Italian, Spanish, French and Dutch painters. She practices Hatha yoga.

GRZEGOLKOWSKAGraduated from 3rd Medical Vocational School in Warsaw where she received her Dental Hygienist Diploma with distinction in 2004. When she was still a student, she started cooperating with the Dental and Implantology Smile Center Practice in Łomianki and Cosmetic Dentistry and Implantology Clinic Impladent in Warsaw where she honed her skills under the supervision of doctor Dariusz Niesiobędzki both as a hygienist and implantology assistant.

In 2006, she commenced studies at the Medical University of Warsaw at the Public Health Division with a specialty in Dental Hygiene. She graduated in 2010 and her bachelor’s degree thesis was entitled “The role of dental hygienist in preventing post-surgical complications in implantology treatment.”

Together with Dariusz Niesiobędzki, she conducts courses for doctors and implantology assistants on preparing the surgical room for procedures and an active assistance during implantology procedures.

Karolina Mazurek, MD, PhD A graduate from the Warsaw Medical University, where in 2012, in the Department of Prosthodontics, she defended her doctoral thesis “The study of the strength of the adhesive bonding of veneer ceramic materials to tooth hard tissue”. She graduated also in Postgraduate Studies in Management of Health Care Facilities at the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2008 associated professionally with the Department of Prosthodontics of Institute of Dentistry at Warsaw Medical University. Author of numerous works and articles.

Elżbieta Dembowska, MD, PhD Elżbieta Dembowska, MD, PhD, has been working as an academic teacher at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin for 28 years. She is the author and co-author of more than 200 academic papers published in perr-reviewed national and international journals. Her academic achievements are also complemented by conference addresses presented at over 100 conventions, conferences as well as national and international symposiums. She specialises in general dentistry, periodontology and dental prosthodontics.

Her habilitation thesis entitled: “Relation between complex periodontal and orthodontic treatment in patients with advanced, chronic and aggressive periodontitis” underlines the main interests and trends towards interdisciplinary treatment of patients with advanced forms of periodontitis. Co-authored manuals and papers on multi-specialty treatment of periodontitis.

For the last 20 years, she has been conducting trainings and courses on periodontitis treatment, dental laser therapy, physical therapy and microsurgery of periodontium for professionals who specialise in periodontology.

Currently, she is the Head of Department of Periodontology and Oral Mucosal Diseases at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.

She is a member of national and international dentistry societies.

Konrad Walerzak, MD, PhD Graduate from the Medical University of Warsaw (Division of Dentistry of the First Medicine Faculty of the Medical University of Warsaw, 1991–1996). Member of the Student Academic Club at the 2nd Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of the Medical University of Warsaw. First-grade specialist in dental surgery (1999), specialist in maxillofacial surgery (2005), graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw (2005), assistant at the Clinic of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Implantology. Doctoral student on facial bone fractures. Completed numerous trainings in Poland and abroad. Has been systematically expanding his experience in the field of implantology, alveolar ridge reconstructive surgery and orthognathic surgery. Has many years of experience in using implants both in classic as well as complex, interdisciplinary clinical cases. Usually, he works with patients with various degrees of facial deformities. Owner of the FACE-CLINIC Malocclusion Treatment Centre – one of the most modern dental clinics in Poland.

Michał Szałwiński, MD, PhDGraduate of the Medical University of Warsaw where in 1999 he received a Diploma in Dentistry, and in 2001, his Medical Doctor’s degree. Specialises in maxillofacial surgery. Graduated from postgraduate studies in Medical Law, Bioethics and Sociology of Medicine at the University of Warsaw. In 2009, he received his title as Doctor of Medical Sciences with distinction. He is active in dental implantology. In 2000–2011, he worked as an Assistant; Assistant Professor at the Clinic of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and Implantology of the Dentistry Institute of the Medical University of Warsaw, whereas in 2010–2011 he worked as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Fundamental Technology Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2001, he has been working as an Assistant and Assistant Professor at the Department of Descriptive and Clinical Anatomy of the Centre of Biostructure at the Medical University of Warsaw, and since 2001 he has been the Senior Assistant at the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw. Co-organiser of an International Congress of Dento-Maxillo-Facial Radiology in Krakow in 2001. Mateusz Sowiński, DDSGraduate of the Medical University of Łódź. In 2000–2001, he took part in an Erasmus scholarship at the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover. Pursued his internships in dental practices in Heidelberg and Kiel. Graduated from postgraduate studies called “Academy of Small and Medium Enterprises”. Dental interests: periodontal surgery and soft tissue cosmetic surgery.

Dariusz Niesiobędzki, MSc, MD, DDS and implantologist Graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. Has 15 years of experience in implantology. He has been one of the first doctors in Poland to introduce implants into his practice. Member of the Polish Association of Dental Implantologists since its beginnings. Completed the prestigious Master of Oral Implantology studies at Goethe University Frankfurt in Frankfurt a. Main. Owner of two dental aesthetics and implantology centres: Impladent in Warsaw and Smile Center in Łomianki.

Cezary Langot, MD, PhD Graduated dentistry at the Medical University of Łódź with the best score. In 2003, he commenced doctoral studies and then was assistant lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics of the Medical University of Łódź. He received his PhD in Medical Sciences in 2008 with the thesis defended with distinction: “Assessment of fitment precision of titanium prosthetic suprastructures prepared with various methods to implant analogues.” As an academic of a Medical University, he authored numerous publications and addresses on prosthodontics and implant prosthetics. He specialises in dental prosthodontics and is a member of the Polish Society of Implantology. He has a private practice in Łódź.

Professor Wiesław Hędzelek, PhD Head of the Dental Prothodontics Department and Clinic at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. President of the Prosthodontics Section at the Polish Dental Society (PTS) in 1998–2006. President of the European Prosthodontics Society EPA in 2004–2005. Editor-in-chief of Kwintesencja (Quintessence) for dentists, member of the Academic Council of Protetyka Stomatologiczna journal as well as Reviewer at The International Journal of Prosthodontics. Spent nearly 2.5 years as senior lecturer in Ile-Ife Dental School in Nigeria. National and international lecturer. He authored and co-authored textbook chapters and research papers on various aspects of prosthodontic treatment, which were published in different Polish and international journals. Recently, he has been focused on research into implant prosthetics, and has been treating patients in this form for nearly 20 years. He is the supervisor of 10 doctoral dissertations. He has been actively treating patients throughout his professional career at the Candeo Dental Centre. Won many Rector’s as well as Polish Dental Society (PTS) awards. His hobbies include literature, theatre, sport recreation and exotic travelling.

Professor Bogdan Ciszek, MD, PhD Anatomist and neurosurgeon. Head of Department of Anatomy, Centre of Biostructure at the Medical University of Warsaw since 2006. In 2007–2009, he was Senior Assisting Neurosurgeon at the Neurosurgery Unit of Professor Jan Bogdanowicz Regional Children Hospital and Vice-president of the Polish Anatomical Society. Author and co-author of nearly 100 publications and 200 conference communications on anatomy, clinical anatomy and neurosurgery. Together with Professor Ryszard Aleksandrowicz, he co-authored the book “Clinical Anatomy of the head and neck” (PZWL 2008).

Michał Szczutkowski, DDSIn 2001, he graduated from the Dentistry Department of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University in Łódź. He specialises in implantology and aesthetic dentistry as well as prosthodontics, endodontics, surgery, periodontal surgery and conservative dentistry. He is actively expanding his knowledge by participating in numerous trainings, courses and conferences globally. Member of the Polish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (PASE) (an exclusive organisation that includes top dental aesthetic surgeons in Poland), ITI (International Team for Implantology), founder of the Polish Endodontic Association (PTE) and Polish Association of Microscopic Dentistry (PSSM). Author of “Endodoncja” (2 DVDs) and “Protetyka” (2 DVDs) included as part of the publication entitled “Educational DVD programme for dentists” (Forum, 2008).
