The renowned Dental Skills Institute Curriculum at the beginning of 2018 was extended with new thematic modules and prestigious workshops with foreign experts in the field of implantology and periodontology. From the seventeenth edition of Curriculum, there are two new trainings that are conducted by Professor Dr. Georg-Hubertus Nentwig and Dr. Henriette Lerner. The cycle ends with a three-stage exam in front of the international commission. Positive passing of a 4-stage examination session results in obtaining an international certificate confirming implantological skills, signed by DGOI (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Orale Implantologie) and receiving membership in DGOI.
The intensive training cycle consists of 9 one- and two-day meetings, scheduled over a period of 3-4 months, which allows participants to quickly gain skills and implement new procedures for their practices. Training success is guaranteed by the model of education through practice (70% of the training time is a workshop or a treatment work). In small comfortable groups (up to 14 persons), outstanding clinicians provide participants with all the issues necessary for independent implantation. During the cycle each participant puts his first implant with the patient, under the supervision of an DSI expert. All trainings are held in modern DSI Training Centers in the heart of Warsaw. The training participants work on modern equipment and the highest quality tools.
After completing the Curriculum, learning is continued due to the free DSI e-learning zone, individual consultations with the lecturers and an extensive offer of advanced training at DSI.
The Implantological Curriculum cycle is also an opportunity to establish valuable contacts and integration with other doctors during entertainment events that are organized for trainees by the Dental Skills Institute.
